So it's been many years since I published on the web. After writing my own CMS system back before anything of the kind was available (my first web site went live in 1992, first commercial site in 1994), it was a big decision to switch over to one of the "once" competitors. Here is why...
Why Switch?
While I had my own CMS rendered site on this same domain, it was quite ancient and running on very outdated software. I don't have either the time or the inclination to maintain that old code-base so I knew the only way I would start publishing again would be to start with something new.
I'm glad to be there now, and looking forward to learning this new structure so I can share experiences and discoveries.
I'll be focusing on similar things (and a few additions):
- Cybersecurity
- Tech tips
- AI/ML
- General geekery
There is still a lot to learn about this new platform and I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.
